Brocklehurst HR are recruiting this role on behalf of a client.

About Us

We are a well established and still growing privately owned eCommerce brand specialising in home & garden products to both end-use customers and B2B sectors. With a strong focus on customer experience and digital innovation, we’re on a mission to take our business to the next level, build brand loyalty, and drive sales through performance-led digital marketing strategies.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a data-driven, creative and entrepreneurial Digital Marketer to help accelerate our online growth. You’ll be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising digital marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in eCommerce, a strong grasp of conversion funnels and ROI, and a passion for turning insights into action.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage and optimise digital advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and other relevant platforms
  • Drive email marketingCRM segmentation, and lifecycle campaigns to increase repeat purchases and customer retention
  • Manage and optimise product feeds across Google Merchant Center and other relevant marketplaces
  • Deliver Social Media campaigns to support our main themes.
  • Implement SEO strategies to improve organic visibility and keyword rankings
  • Track and analyse performance using Google Analytics, GA4Meta Ads ManagerKlaviyo etc.
  • Conduct A/B tests on landing pages, CTAs, and ad creatives to improve CTR and ROI
  • Collaborate with content, creative, web development and customer service teams to ensure messaging and visuals align across campaigns
  • Enhance and refine a ‘story’ that has been carefully crafted whilst ensuring our messaging aligns to the story and our target personas
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on key KPIs: ROAS, CPA, conversion rate, CAC, CLV etc.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in digital marketing, ideally within an eCommerce environment
  • Proficiency with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, GA4, and email/CRM platforms
  • Strong understanding of marketing funnels, customer journeys, and attribution
  • Solid grasp of SEO fundamentals and familiarity with relevant tools
  • Comfortable working with budgets and delivering performance against targets (ROAS, CAC, etc.)
  • Experience with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms is a plus
  • Creative eye and ability to brief design teams effectively
  • Self-starter with strong project management and communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience with influencer marketing or affiliate programmes
  • Exposure to CRO tools
  • Familiarity with international markets and localisation strategies

What We Offer

  • Leading edge ecommerce and project management ‘tools’.
  • Competitive salary and team bonus opportunities
  • Flexible working hours
  • Employee discounts
  • Opportunity to shape the direction of digital marketing in a growing brand
  • Supportive team culture with learning and development opportunities
  • Support of experienced retail marketing and buying team.

Would Suit

  • A performance-driven digital marketer looking to step out of agency life and make a tangible impact on one brand
  • An ambitious eCommerce professional who wants to grow into a leadership role and have a real say in commercial decisions
  • Someone entrepreneurial who’s not just looking for a job, but a chance to be part of building something — with the potential for future equity or ownership for the right person
  • A self-starter who enjoys autonomy, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, and wants their voice to matter in shaping a growing business
  • A generalist with depth in one or two areas (paid, CRM, SEO, etc.) who’s excited to round out their skill set in a commercially minded team
  • An acquisition business with people who possess these skills
