Social Media and Community Manager

Brinny’s Better Bucklers is a (soon to be incorporated) German start-up company based in Cologne. We are currently building the Stagehand (stagehand-derps.com) - a digital collection of modular tools, aimed at helping Game Hosts run traditional TableTop Role Playing Games.

Job Scope:

We are currently working with an advertising agency to create and advertise our upcoming Kickstarter Campaign, which we aim to hold in October 2026. Our team needs a Community Manager to accomplish the following:

1. Help us create a fun Discord community, to help retain and grow the fanbase gathered by the marketing campaign.
2. Maintain a constant presence on select social media platforms.
3. Coach the team on how to interact with fans in the media and share progress.
4. Help us run community events, to entertain and connect with fans.
5. Build working relationships with Youtube influencers to feature our product. 

Requirements:

1. Demonstrable portfolio as a Social Media and Community Manager or in a similar role.
2. Strong understanding of online community platforms, social media tools and analytics.
3. Ability to handle conflicts and difficult fans.
4. Conversational English.

The following points are not compulsory, but highly welcome:

1. A degree in Media and Communications.
2. Past experience playing in or hosting TableTop Role Playing Games.
3. Past experience working in a start-up environment.

Remuneration:

At the moment, we are offering all full and part-time team members an equivalent of Profit Participation Rights - once the company is incorporated and profitable, each employee will become eligible to a portion of the company's annual profits, as a major part of their standard compensation package.
