Position Title: Social Media Marketing Specialist

Location: Remote

We’re Breathe For Change, a movement to transform education through human intelligence. We help educators upskill, advance their careers, and live their legacy, and we’re ready to bring that same energy to our social media. 

We’re looking for a creative, data-minded social media pro who can help us level up our presence, grow our audience, and motivate educators to take the next step across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok (and maybe even test some new platforms if you’ve got ideas 👀).

Core Responsibilities

• Plan and manage our content calendar with high-impact, scroll-stopping content.
• Post 4-5 feed posts and 3-5 Reels/TikToks weekly that build brand love and drive action.
• Engage in the comments and DMs – like, actually talk to people.
• Coordinate influencer or creator collabs per quarter that align with our campaigns.
• Spot and jump on trending sounds, formats, and moments that fit our vibe.
• Track and report on performance – what’s working, what’s not, and what’s next.
• Collaborate with our growth team to align content with events, ads, and business goals.

What Success Looks Like

• +10-20% social-driven traffic growth quarter-over-quarter
• +5-10% increase in applicants/signups sourced from social
• +15-20% engagement lift and +30-40% more comments within six months
• An authentically growing community that feels seen, supported, and lit

Candidate Qualifications

• Live and breathe social – trends, analytics, storytelling, all of it
• Are fluent in Reels, TikTok, and short-form storytelling
• Can balance creativity and humor with depth and strategy
• Care deeply about education, wellness, and making a real difference
• Bring both heart and hustle to your work

Management

• Position reports to the Chief Growth Officer, and collaborates closely with growth team members.
