About the role
We’re looking for a part-time Social Media Manager to lead Bluuu Tours’ social presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn. This role is ideal for a creative storyteller who loves content, understands social culture, and knows how to grow engaged communities that convert interest into bookings.
You will own our content creation, scheduling, community management, UGC sourcing and influencer partnerships - becoming the voice and personality of Bluuu across all social channels.
What you'll be doing
- Plan, manage and publish the weekly/monthly social content calendar aligned to our core marketing pillars (Awareness, Engagement, Bookings).
- Create, edit and publish high-quality content including Reels, TikToks, carousels, stories and lifestyle imagery.
- Maintain consistent brand storytelling, tone of voice and visual identity across all platforms.
- Monitor community engagement — responding to comments, DMs and enquiries while nurturing our community.
- Coordinate influencer partnerships, UGC creators and content contributions to build a strong library of assets.
- Build and maintain a UGC/influencer content bank for use across organic and paid campaigns.
- Track analytics (reach, engagement, follower growth, content performance) and provide insights to guide future content.
- Prepare weekly and monthly social performance reports with insights and recommended actions.
- Work closely with the Performance Marketing Specialist to align on creative testing and paid social requirements.
- Monitor platform trends and performance insights to recommend new content formats that drive awareness/reach, engagement and bookings.
What we're looking for
- 3–5+ years’ experience in social media management, content creation or community management (travel, tourism or lifestyle experience a bonus).
- Strong creative skills - video editing, short-form storytelling, basic design and on-trend content execution.
- Proven experience growing social communities and lifting engagement across Instagram and TikTok.
- Excellent written communication and ability to adapt tone across platforms.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage schedules, deliverables and multiple content streams.
- A proactive mindset - constantly seeking fresh ideas, trends and community insights.
- Bonus: experience with influencer coordination and UGC management.
Remuneration
- AUD 40-60 per hour, part-time
