About the Role

We’re looking for a Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to own BluSky’s daily presence across social platforms and keep our trader community engaged. This is a highly hands-on role: you’ll write and schedule posts, make memes, cut clips, and engage with traders on social media and Discord.

The right person will understand futures trading well enough to keep up with market conversations — and have the humor and creativity to connect with traders authentically. You’ll report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and play a critical role in keeping BluSky’s voice consistent, relevant, and fun.

What You’ll Do

• Post daily on X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Discord.
• Create memes, graphics, and short-form videos from trading clips, webinars, and market content.
• Write punchy copy for trader announcements, product updates, and promos.
• Engage with trader comments and conversations across social platforms.
• Highlight trader wins and community moments with creative posts.
• Spot market trends and trader memes on fintwit, Discords, Reddit, and TikTok.
• Support the CMO with campaign execution, email formatting, and reporting.
• Keep BluSky’s tone consistent: serious about trading, but funny and relatable to traders.

What We’re Looking For

• U.S.-based, fully remote. Meetings occur during East Coast Hours (ET).
• 1–2 years of experience in marketing, social media, or content creation (internships count).
• Familiarity with futures trading (especially NQ, ES, YM).
• Strong writing skills with a voice that’s funny, engaging, and not corporate.
• Comfortable with Canva, CapCut, or similar tools.
• Highly active online, especially in Discord, fintwit, or trader communities.

Nice to Have

• Experience managing Discord communities.
• Video editing skills for TikTok/short-form vertical content.
• Comfort jumping on camera or doing quick voiceovers.

Important Notes

This is a 1099 independent contractor role paying $52,000/year, not a W-2 employee position. You will be responsible for your own taxes and benefits.
