Part-Time (20 hrs/week) with Full-Time Growth PotentialAre You a Runner/Cyclist Who Happens to Do Marketing?

We're looking for someone who understands why coaches still use Excel spreadsheets at 5 AM to plan workouts - and why that's absolutely crazy in 2025.

Good Coach App is a training planning platform built by coaches and athletes who got fed up with spreadsheets. We're now helping endurance coaches across the world achieve 200% productivity improvements. Some of our "super coaches" manage up to 100 athletes (try that with Excel!).

We need a marketing specialist who gets both the endurance world AND modern marketing. Someone who can talk about interval training and conversion rates with equal passion.

The Role

You'll own our marketing execution while working directly with the founder. This is a hands-on role where you'll implement strategies, create content, and directly impact our growth from 240 to 1,000+ coaches.

Primary Responsibilities

Podcast Sponsorship & Partnerships (30% of time)

- Identify and reach out to endurance sports podcasts

- Negotiate sponsorship deals (budget: €400-600/month)

- Build relationships with influential coaches and content creators

- Track ROI and optimise channel performance

Content Creation with AI Tools (25% of time)

- Write blog posts using AI assistance (4+ posts/month)

- Create email campaigns that coaches actually read

- Develop case studies of successful coaches

- Generate social media content that resonates with the endurance community

Email Marketing & Automation (20% of time)

- Activate our contacts database

- Design conversion campaigns for free users

- Create engaging newsletters and product updates

- A/B test and optimize for >25% open rates

Community & Referral Program (15% of time)

- Launch and manage coach-to-coach referral program

- Engage in coaching communities and forums

- Build relationships with coaching organisations

- Turn our happiest users into advocates

Conversion Optimisation (10% of time)

- Improve landing page messaging

- Optimise the free-to-paid user journey

- Analyse user behaviour and identify growth opportunities

- Test new acquisition channels

Required QualificationsMust-Have: The Non-Negotiables

✅ Endurance Sports Background

- You ARE a runner, cyclist, triathlete, or swim/coach

- You understand training zones, periodisation, and why coaches obsess over TSS

- You know the difference between a tempo run and a threshold workout

- You can name 5 endurance podcasts without Googling

✅ AI Tools Proficiency

- You actively use ChatGPT, Claude, or similar for content creation

- You can show examples of AI-assisted work

- You understand how to prompt, iterate, and optimise AI output

- You see AI as a productivity multiplier, not a threat

✅ Marketing Experience (2+ years)

- Proven track record in digital marketing (preferably SaaS or sports)

- Experience with email marketing, content creation, and paid advertising

- Data-driven approach with the ability to track and improve metrics

- Understanding of CAC, LTV, and conversion optimisation

✅ Agile Mindset

- Comfortable with 2-week sprints and regular check-ins

- Self-directed but collaborative

- Can handle ambiguity and iterate quickly

- Results-focused, not task-focused

🎯 Coaching experience or certification

🎯 Previously marketed to coaches or athletes

🎯 Podcast advertising experience

🎯 Multiple language abilities (especially Polish, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese)

🎯 Experience with international/multi-market expansion
