You fish. You also happen to be a killer marketer who still loves being in the ad account. We need all three.

Beyond Braid is one of the most-followed fishing brands in the country, and we're just getting started. We make braided fishing line and tackle that serious anglers actually trust, and we've built it into a real brand in six years by being better at brand and marketing than anyone in our lane.

Now we're scaling, and we need a marketing leader who's sharper at this than our founder is, who can take the entire paid-creative engine and brand off his plate, and who can build us a second growth engine so we're not living and dying by the ad auction.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF:

- You genuinely fish. Not "I went once on vacation." You have opinions about braid vs. mono, you know what a backlash feels like, and you'd test our line yourself before you'd ever market it.

- You can personally make and test ads, not just brief them. You've cut video and static creative, run paid traffic on Meta and TikTok, and you can prove you scaled spend while holding ROAS.

- You think in brand AND performance. You can build a story people fall in love with and a funnel that prints contribution margin. Most people are good at one. We need both.

- You build systems, you don't throw creative at the wall. You turn "what's working" into a repeatable, documented test-and-scale machine, and you stay on the cutting edge of hooks, formats, and trends.

- You've managed budgets and people/agencies, and you're ready to own a function, not just execute a channel.

- You're allergic to fluff and you move fast.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN:

- The paid-creative engine. Meta, Google, and our TikTok Shop GMV Max ads. You make ads, test angles and hooks, scale what works, and direct our media buyers. You also direct a core of content creators on payroll and influencer strategy. This is the core of the job.

- The brand. Our standard is "professional, badass, clean." You protect and push it everywhere.

- A second growth engine. Email, SMS, retention, organic, and content, built up so we depend less on paid and turn buyers into repeat buyers and repeat buyers into fans.

- Organic and content. We have one of the biggest social presences in fishing and a massive UGC library. You turn that into a machine.

- The marketing team and partners. You'll quarterback our existing specialists and build in-house where it gives us an edge.

You'll partner closely with our Ecom Manager (who owns Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop, and Walmart), manage and coach our social/content lead, and report directly to the founder.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

- ~4-7+ years in DTC/ecommerce marketing, with real ownership of paid creative + media buying and leadership of a function or channel set.

- You can personally produce and test ad creative (video + static) and run paid social/search. Show us ads you made and the numbers they drove.

- Hands-on depth in at least two of: paid social/search, email/CRM, organic/content/influencer (paid creative is required, not optional).

- A track record you can show us, not just describe.

- Genuine, demonstrable connection to fishing or the outdoors (we will know).

- Bonus: you've been inside a brand that scaled fast, and bonus points for fishing, hunting, outdoor, or a comparable enthusiast/lifestyle brand.

THE DETAILS:

- Remote (US). If you're in South Florida (Fort Lauderdale/Miami), even better, we'd love to see you in person.

- Compensation: $95,000-120,000 base + performance bonus (weighted to reward growth, with real room to earn as you deliver). We pay for people who move the numbers.

- We're a small, fast team. You'll have real ownership from week one.
