Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Sales Manager – South America to drive our expansion in the Latin American medical device market.
This is a full-time remote role. The International Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for South American markets, including identifying new business opportunities, expanding distributor networks, and maintaining strong relationships with existing partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across South America (Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, etc.)
- Identify new business opportunities and expand distributor networks
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, negotiations, contract closing, and account management
- Conduct virtual and on-site meetings, product presentations, and clinical trainings
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate commercial terms
- Perform market research and competitive analysis
- Track sales performance, forecast, and provide regular reports to headquarters
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (marketing, regulatory, logistics, and customer service) to ensure successful product launches and high customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese (fluency in both languages is mandatory)
- Minimum 3–5 years of international sales experience in the medical device industry
- Experience in minimally invasive surgery, endoscopy, electrosurgery, or related surgical fields is strongly preferred
- Strong medical background or clinical knowledge is a big plus
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in Latin America
- Deep understanding of South American healthcare systems, tender processes, and regulatory requirements (ANVISA, COFEPRIS, etc.)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
- Willingness to travel frequently across South America
