Position Overview:

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Operations Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of our business and lead the development and execution of operational strategies. The Operations Director will be responsible for ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality operations across various departments while driving continuous improvement initiatives. This leadership role requires a dynamic individual with strong business acumen, leadership skills, and a passion for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the organization’s daily operations and ensure that the business is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve high performance and operational excellence.
  • Manage the performance of operational departments, ensuring all team members are working towards defined goals and KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and optimization in all operational areas.
  • Oversee supply chain management, including procurement, inventory, and logistics, to ensure timely and cost-efficient product delivery.
  • Collaborate with other senior leaders in areas such as sales, finance, HR, and marketing to ensure alignment across the organization.
  • Provide strategic oversight and guidance on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning related to operational activities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices across all operational functions.
  • Drive the implementation of technology and automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external partners to ensure service excellence and contract compliance.
  • Monitor and report on key operational metrics, providing regular updates to senior management on performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Lead risk management initiatives to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting innovation and efficiency across all operational functions.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between departments to achieve organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (typically 5-10 years) in operations management, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve high performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of operations management, supply chain processes, and best practices.
  • Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information to senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using operations management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, project management software).
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining attention to detail.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and the ability to build relationships with people at all levels of the organization.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering value to the business.
