Media & Publishing Admin AssistantAE Publications Ltd / Awesome EarthmoversFull-time | Remote working | £26,000 per yearPlease only apply if you have experience in media, publishing, magazines, advertising, content, marketing admin or a similar B2B environment.

This is not a general admin role. We need someone who understands deadlines, copy, adverts, approvals, CRM systems, social media, client communication and the pace of a small media business.

AE Publications Ltd, the company behind Awesome Earthmovers Magazine and social media Channels, is looking for a full-time Media & Publishing Admin Assistant to join our small but fast-moving team.

This is a varied role at the heart of the business, supporting the day-to-day running of our magazine, website, video production, advertising and client admin.

We are looking for someone who understands the media, magazine or publishing world and is confident working across admin, content, sales support, CRM, digital and client communication.

Awesome Earthmovers is a specialist media brand covering the construction, mining, demolition and heavy equipment industries. We are a small team of 5–6 people, so the right person needs to be organised, proactive and comfortable working closely with different members of the team.

The role will include:

Managing day-to-day business admin across the magazine, website, video and advertising sides of the company.

Chasing advert copy, editorial copy, approvals, images, and client information.

Preparing and sending booking forms, quotations and relevant client paperwork, and making sure everything is in the right place ready for production of our 6 weekly magazine.

Liaising with customers and videographers to arrange site visits, book flights and accommodation, keep shoots running smoothly, chase deliverables, send completed work to customers for approval, and organise the storage of final video, photo and copy assets.

Keeping the CRM up to date, including accounts, leads, contacts, deals and follow-up notes.

Supporting lead generation using platforms such as Apollo and other research tools and adding leads to the CRM ready for the sale team.

Working with Brevo to create monthly new letters and email campaigns.

Assisting with website uploads, creating SEO optimised news features for the Wordpress website from press releases which are sent in on a daily basis.

Supporting the wider team with general publishing, sales and production admin.

What we’re looking for:

Experience in magazine, media, publishing, marketing, advertising or a similar content-led business.

Strong admin skills and excellent attention to detail.

Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel/spreadsheets and Outlook.

Experience using CRM systems, ideally Monday CRM.

A working understanding of Photoshop / Adobe Creative Suite would be a strong advantage.

Good written communication skills and confidence dealing with clients, suppliers and internal team members.

An organised, reliable and proactive approach.

Someone who can manage several jobs at once and keep things moving without constant chasing.

An understanding of social media, website content and basic SEO would be beneficial.

Interest in construction, machinery, equipment, automotive, trade media or B2B publishing would be a real advantage.

What we offer:

Salary of £26,000 per year.

Full-time role, five days per week.

Remote working from home.

Mac computer, phone and all equipment required for the role provided.

Workplace pension.

Paid annual leave.

A varied role in a growing specialist media business.

The opportunity to work closely with a small, experienced team across magazine publishing, digital media, video production, events and advertising.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being involved in lots of different areas of a media business and takes pride in keeping things organised, accurate and moving forward.

To apply, please send your CV and a short note explaining your relevant media experience to Dale@awesomeearthmovers.com.
