The Role

We’re looking for a Programmatic Sales Manager to drive omnichannel programmatic revenue with an emphasis on audio. You’ll build and grow relationships with media planners, buyers, agency trading desks and brands to develop Audacia Audio's presence in Sydney.Responsibilities

  • Build programmatic revenue; create, manage, and convert a high-quality sales pipeline
  • Sell across PMP/PG/open exchange, craft audio packages spanning podcasts, streaming audio, digital radio, and gaming.
  • Build deep relationships with agency trading desks and independent agencies; run the full cycle: prospect → pitch → negotiate → close → renew.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and RevOps to shape go-to-market narratives, case studies, and vertical POVs.
  • Analyse market trends and client performance data to optimise packaging, pricing, and inventory yield.
  • Deliver standout sales presentations; represent Audacia at client roadshows and industry speaking opportunities.

Your experience

  • 2 - 6+ years in digital/programmatic sales, ideally with audio or adjacent channels (Video, Display, OOH).
  • Strong "Black Book" of contacts across key media agencies and independents.
  • Strong knowledge of DSPs, SSPs, and deal types (PMP/PG); comfortable with measurement, brand safety, and privacy basics.
  • Proven track record exceeding sales targets and expanding accounts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; you can translate marketer objectives into clear, testable programmatic plans.
  • Data-curious: you analyse performance and turn insight into action.
  • Self-directed and reliable in a remote setup; Melbourne-based with ability to travel in ANZ.
  • Relationships across GroupM/OMG/Publicis/IPG/Dentsu
  • Experience working with TTD / DV360 preferred
  • Confident working solo while staying motivated to succeed while we grow the Melboure team

  • Outcome-led: You are sales focused and motivated by building your revenue pipeline to close
  • Operator energy: Clean pipeline, active deals, repeat business is key
  • Collaborative: You loop in Product/Marketing/Ops early to make campaigns successful.
  • Storyteller: Decks that land, audio that converts, case studies that resonate
  • Consistent quarter-over-quarter growth with strong renewals and PG expansion.
  • A clear territory plan for Melbourne spanning direct IO and PG/PMP.
  • New category case studies proving brand lift and/or performance impact with a focus on retail clients.
  • Trusted partner with key trading desks and planners.
