Remote - must live in the US.
Length of contract: Approved for 8 months, possible extension
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $41-43 / hourly as a W2 employee.
Holidays and vacation days taken are unpaid.
Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in a 401k plan with company match.
Role Summary / Purpose
Our established Financial client is continuing to build a world class Performance Media and Creative Agency committed to driving results with their retail and payments partners while also delivering leading customer experiences.
Within this agency, their Paid Media Team is focused on achieving growth by making data-driven decisions to create meaningful interactions with existing and potential customers. They are seeking a Search Analyst with both SEO and SEM experience to support a newly structured total search team.
The team will be supporting one of their biggest campaigns with the highest investment along with others. The role will assist reporting and optimization for both SEO and SEM, while collaborating with senior search managers as well as cross functional teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist paid search campaign planning, strategy, forecast, building, execution, optimization and reporting
- Manage pacing, develop weekly campaign performance insights and identify optimization opportunities
- Responsible for keyword research/analysis, copy development, bid strategy and budget allocation
- Identify test and learn opportunity to gain deeper insights to optimize campaigns for better performance
- Collaborate with analytics on measurement, tagging and reporting and display/social team for cross channel collaboration
- Work with senior Search Manager and analytics partners on monthly and quarterly organic search traffic reports (planning, collaborating, creating)
- Perform day-to-day on-page content optimizations, including writing meta titles and descriptions for new landing pages
- Support strategic SEO initiatives such as identifying keyword opportunities/gaps and SERP changes that impact CTR and manage keyword portfolio set up on SEO tools
- Assist new content initiatives and provide SEO insights from performance data
- Collaborate with SEO technical person on web implementation
- Stay up to day with SEM/SEO industry trends/news, Google algorithm updates, new Google ad format, and competitor practices
- Assist SEO/SEM Integration: Identify overlap opportunities, share keyword insights, and coordinate messaging
- Provide ad-hoc SEO/SEO competitor insights as it relates to search and on-page content
- Leverage internal automation and AI tool to identify trends and deepen insights to support program growth and efficiency
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or in lieu of degree, high school diploma/GED and 4+ Years Marketing Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns from planning and execution to optimization and reporting
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing SEO and content optimization; knowledge in HTML and elements that impacts SEO
- Proficiency in using SEO tools such as SEMRush, seoClarity/BrightEdge/Conductor, or similar for keyword rank tracking, keyword research, content ideas, and competitor reviews
- Proficiency in using paid platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Search Ads 360 (preferred third party tool)
- Experience with web analytics such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console is preferred
- Ability to translate complex SEO/SEM data and recommendations into clear actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders; proficient in excel and PPT
- Has a general understanding of the impact of AI on search
