Head of Content

Position Summary The Head of Content will serve as a strategic leader responsible for shaping the organization’s editorial vision and driving a cohesive content strategy across platforms. This individual will oversee a talented content team, optimize production workflows and ensure that all content supports brand, audience and revenue objectives. A forward-thinking mindset and strong command of digital tools and AI-enabled content innovation are essential. Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the editorial strategy, voice and standards
• Lead and develop the content team; manage resource allocation and workflows
• Guide content planning, production schedules and cross-functional alignment
• Analyze performance metrics to refine content strategy and enhance engagement
• Expand audience growth initiatives, including subscriptions and memberships
• Partner with commercial teams to strengthen digital advertising opportunities
• Monitor industry and technology trends to drive innovation in format and delivery
• Maintain high-quality standards, editorial integrity and legal compliance
• Provide ongoing reporting and insights to executive leadership

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in content, editorial or publishing leadership
• Deep understanding of storytelling, audience development and digital platforms
• Demonstrated ability to use data to inform strategy
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
• Experience implementing or leveraging emerging content technologies

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $70k – $90k. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. #app
