Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager will plan, schedule, and publish content across multiple social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand voice and visual identity. The role includes monitoring channels, engaging with communities, responding to comments and messages, and escalating issues when needed. The Social Media Manager will collaborate with internal and client teams to develop social media calendars, align content with campaign goals, and support content creation through briefs, copywriting, and asset coordination. Additional responsibilities include tracking key performance metrics, preparing performance reports, optimizing posts for engagement and reach, and staying current on social trends, platform updates, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to plan, execute, and optimize platform-specific strategies.
- Proficiency in Content Strategy and Writing to develop calendars, craft on-brand copy, and support digital storytelling.
- Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams, and to engage effectively with online communities.
- Experience with social media analytics tools and basic reporting to measure performance and inform optimization.
- Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube) and their content formats.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities in a remote environment.
- Prior experience managing social media for brands, talent, or agencies preferred; experience in sports, entertainment, or creator ecosystems is a plus.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.
