- The salary range for this position is: $75,000 to $85,000 based upon experience.

As a key member of our marketing team, the Marketing Manager leads the planning, development, and execution of marketing plans for assigned products, including events and community programs. This role plays a critical part in promoting engagement, attendance, and participation through cohesive, data-informed marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple projects and overlapping deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We’re looking for someone who loves connecting ideas, data, and people; someone who can test new tactics, bring bold creative ideas to life, and help shape how we engage our audiences and grow our impact.
What you’ll be doing
- Owns marketing and communications for assigned AMA products, including events, community programs, and the AMA Foundation.
- Plan, develop, and execute integrated campaigns across email, web, social, and paid media channels in partnership with the internal growth marketing team and external media agency.
- Guide cross-functional teams toward alignment on marketing strategy, messaging, tactics, and timelines.
- Write compelling marketing copy for emails, web pages, direct mail, and on-site event materials that resonate with target audiences.
- For events, lead the development and execution of onsite brand touchpoints, including signage, push notifications, and other brand engagement opportunities.
- Analyze performance and report on key metrics to measure effectively and inform future marketing efforts.
- Uses customer research and data to inform and refine marketing strategies.
- Liaison to external partners such as printers, freelance designers, and agencies to provide direction and feedback.
What you bring to the table
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a comparable field
- 2-4 years minimum experience in executing integrated marketing plans with a background in planning, copywriting, and producing marketing materials for digital and traditional platforms
- 2 or more years of experience in Event Marketing
- Copywriting experience for marketing materials (ex: emails, web pages and social posts)
- Experience with CRM, CMS, and email automation platforms (We use Salesforce, Wordpress, and HubSpot!).
- A detail-oriented, highly organized way of working, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- The ability to travel up to 2 AMA events throughout the year.

- Knowledge of Canva
- Familiarity with the principles of UX design
