We’re seeking an Email/SMS Marketing Specialist to join our client's growing team. This role is ideal for a data-minded digital marketer with strong creative instincts and hands-on experience managing campaigns that drive both engagement and revenue.
Reporting to senior marketing leadership, this position will collaborate across departments to develop and execute targeted campaigns that support fan engagement and drive ticket sales across a wide portfolio of events.
Responsibilities:
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Build and maintain weekly email and SMS content calendars in partnership with internal marketing teams.
- Develop, test, and deploy high-performing campaigns aligned with brand voice and event goals.
- Ensure campaign deliverability, mobile responsiveness, and ongoing optimization.
Database Management & Segmentation
- Maintain and clean the marketing database to ensure segmentation accuracy and compliance.
- Build and manage audience segments for targeting, retargeting, and personalized messaging.
- Leverage campaign data to refine messaging and improve conversion rates.
Growth & Engagement Strategy
- Support email/SMS list growth strategies through both organic and paid initiatives.
- Create interactive fan campaigns (contests, surveys, engagement flows) using tools like Tradable Bits or similar.
- Identify opportunities to scale the email/SMS program into a more integrated fan marketing platform.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and operations teams to ensure cohesive multi-channel messaging.
- Analyze campaign performance and report on KPIs, sharing actionable insights and improvement ideas.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in email and/or SMS marketing (ideally in entertainment, live events, or e-commerce).
- Proficiency with platforms such as Attentive, Hive, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Emma.
- Strong understanding of list segmentation, A/B testing, deliverability, and workflow automation.
- Familiar with TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and related compliance standards.
- Skilled at content writing, editing, and formatting for mobile-first delivery.
- Bonus: Experience with Tradable Bits or other interactive fan engagement platforms.
