The Role – Head of Marketing
This is a high-impact role in a business that’s ready to scale. You’ll take full ownership of marketing strategy, digital execution, and demand generation, working directly with the CEO to build a high-performing function that fuels growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and execute the digital marketing strategy to drive MQLs and pipeline
- Manage a £500k annual marketing budget, including £30k/month in PPC
- Audit existing channels, analyse performance, and reallocate spend where it counts
- Lead and develop a team of five marketers, plus external design contractors
- Collaborate closely with the CEO to define and deliver growth plans
- Build and scale full-funnel marketing across PPC, SEO, CRO, email, and content
- Set KPIs, track performance, and optimise based on results
- Lay the foundation for a scalable, high-performing marketing engine
What You’ll Need
- Experience in a scale-up SaaS business, ideally within LMS, L&D, or EdTech
- Strong B2B background with some understanding of B2C buyer behaviour
- Proven success in driving qualified inbound leads and building pipeline
- Hands-on digital experience across PPC, SEO, CRO, and campaign execution
- Leadership experience, but comfortable being in the weeds when needed
- Analytical mindset with a strong commercial focus
- Ambition to grow into a VP-level role as the business scales
