Pixel Watch 5 Leaked Marketing Images Reveal Gemini and Health Features Ahead of Launch

Google’s marketing images for the Pixel Watch 5 have surfaced online, offering a deeper look at some specs we already knew and revealing new details. The leak, via MyMobiles, includes the entire spec sheet and marketing materials that Google hasn't released yet.

Specs and Performance

The Pixel Watch 5 is expected to feature an "accelerated" chip, but it's still unclear whether it will use the Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 or the same SoC as the Pixel Watch 4. The spec sheet mentions a Cortex-M55 processor. The watch will come with 64GB of storage, likely to support expanded Gemini functionality, and a possible RAM boost to 3GB from 2GB.

Gemini Features

The marketing material highlights Gemini features, including proactive suggestions and context-aware replies based on conversations. Images show a Google Wallet boarding pass suggestion and surfaced contact information in response to a text.

Health and Wellness

Google is pushing health features, showcasing loss of pulse detection with automatic SOS and "most accurate sleep tracking yet." These integrate into morning insights, a health-focused daily brief similar to Pixel phones.

Battery and Bands

The battery has been increased to 332mAh on the 41mm version and 465mAh on the 45mm variant, though battery life remains unchanged, possibly due to the new processor drawing more power. The leaked images also show second-generation sport bracelets made of hydrogenated nitrile-butadiene rubber (HNBR), a different compound than fluoroelastomer, potentially more comfortable.

Colors and Pricing

The Pixel Watch 5 will come in four colors: Natural Silver, Dark Anthracite, Warm Gold, and Pyrite. Warm Gold is exclusive to the 41mm version. Pricing starts at $399 for the 41mm and $429 for the 45mm.

Google is set to launch the Pixel Watch 5 and Pixel 11 devices on August 12 during the next Made by Google event.
