Founded by Megan Ruiter, MAR PR offers a full-service marketing experience, working with over 3,000 influencers and organizing numerous brand events in just a year. Megan shared her journey, saying, "We both got made redundant... I didn’t know what to do. I thought about going back to fashion design or continuing with marketing."

Embracing New Opportunities

After losing her job at a fashion brand, Megan used her extensive network to launch her own agency. "I took on three clients and quickly found that the money I was getting from them was more than my wage from the full-time job," she explained. The flexibility of being her own boss allowed her to focus on what she loved.

Megan later partnered with her former colleague Khadija, who brought valuable experience in fashion marketing. Their collaboration has been described as a sibling-like relationship, where both bring unique ideas and perspectives to the table.

Megan believes that MAR PR stands out due to its wide range of services, including events management, branding, and website design. "We offer a lot compared to others who only provide one or two services," she stated.

Reflecting on their journey, Megan noted, "If it wasn't made redundant, this wouldn't have even started. It was such a shock but came as such a blessing really."
