The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Business Development / Sales Manager with a strong background in pharma, ideally from a digital provider/agency serving pharmaceutical clients or from a marketing/commercial excellence role within pharma. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on identifying new opportunities and is passionate about the intersection of AI, digital marketing, and healthcare.Key Responsibilities

  • Business Growth: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with pharmaceutical and healthcare clients.
  • Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders in pharma (Marketing, Medical, Commercial Excellence, L&D).
  • Solution Selling: Understand client challenges and articulate Vivanti’s solutions to meet commercial and operational needs.
  • Tech-Driven Sales: Quickly grasp the functionality of AI and digital solutions, translate features into business value, and identify opportunities in product capabilities.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor pharma and healthcare industry trends to position Vivanti as a thought leader and identify growth areas.
  • Proposal Development: Lead the creation of tailored proposals, RFP responses, and presentations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with delivery and product teams to ensure client success and long-term partnerships.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and grow a robust pipeline using CRM and reporting tools.

Requirements

  • Proven track record (2+ years) in business development or sales in the pharma ecosystem.
  • Previous experience in a digital agency/provider serving pharma OR in a pharma company within marketing, medical, or commercial excellence.
  • Strong understanding of tech sales and ability to learn new products quickly.
  • Capacity to translate complex product features into client opportunities and commercial outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to present to senior leadership.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to explore new opportunities in AI, digital, and healthcare.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional European language — preferably French or German — is an advantage.
  • Self-driven, able to work independently in a remote-first environment.
