Marketing Consultant - Contract

This role is ideal for a social media professional with a passion for music events and a proven track record in audience growth. You will serve as a mentor, guiding a Bristol-based House and UK Garage events company in expanding their social media presence. The focus is on long-term collaboration, with bi-weekly meetings to plan content, refine strategy, and provide hands-on support for content creation. Your expertise will be instrumental in increasing engagement and growing the company’s channels, making a tangible impact on their digital footprint within the music events sector. Deliverables

• Conduct bi-weekly mentorship sessions focused on content planning and strategy
• Provide actionable feedback and guidance on content creation for Instagram and other platforms
• Develop and refine a tailored social media growth strategy for the music events sector
• Monitor analytics and adjust strategies to maximize engagement and follower growth
• Support the team in implementing best practices for audience interaction and brand consistency
• Advise on trends and tools relevant to the House and UK Garage music scene

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in social media growth, ideally within the music or events industry
• Strong understanding of Instagram and other key social platforms
• Ability to mentor and communicate complex strategies in an accessible way
• Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends, analytics, and content planning tools
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Availability for regular, ongoing mentorship (bi-weekly meetings)
• Experience working with creative teams or event-based brands is highly desirable
