This is a fantastic opportunity for a performance-driven Creative Director to lead our in-house team in crafting high-converting, direct-response video ads for Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and beyond. If you’re a gifted storyteller with a deep background in paid media, thrive in a script-to-screen role, and have experience managing large creative teams (ideally in an agency setting), we want to talk to you. You blend structure with creativity, following a proven process while constantly pushing boundaries to keep content fresh, dynamic, and high-converting. Until now, we’ve relied on agencies for our Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram ads, but it’s time to bring our ad creative in-house. Over the past three years, we’ve grown exponentially and we’re aiming for new record-breaking growth this year. To reach our goal of becoming a 9-figure, multi-channel brand, we need to take our creative to the next level—and that’s where you come in. What are the Key Points?
- Compensation: $165,000 - $185,000 + Bonus (negotiable for right person)
- Location: 100% Remote (Some occasional travel to home office in Michigan)

- Create Ads That Win – Develop high-converting concepts that drive measurable results (ROAS, CTR, CPA).
- Scale a High-Volume Ad Machine – Oversee a testing pipeline to ensure consistent, top-tier ad production.
- Data-Driven Post-Mortems – Analyze ad performance, pinpoint trends, and iterate for continuous improvement.
- Lead & Coach – Set aggressive but achievable KPIs for your creative team, building a fun yet results-driven culture.
- Develop Playbooks & Systems – Build SOPs to streamline creative processes, workflows, and production efficiency.
How You Will Execute And Lead
- Strategy – You’ll work with our product and marketing team to establish the overall vision and strategy for the ads, relying on both research and intuition to pinpoint concepts that “click”
- Analysis – You’ll dive DEEP into our paid ads data to see what works and what doesn’t, identifying the patterns of success to capitalize one, and the mistakes to avoid
- Scripting – You’ll write the scripts for the ads while keeping in mind the overall visual vision for the ad so the copy, graphics, video and all other elements just “work” together
- Editing – You’ll do the agonizingly detailed collaborating with the editing team that’s necessary to pull all the production elements together to create a final piece that “sings” and delivers the desired results
- Logistics – You’ll handle all logistics for any video or photo shoots or other elements of the production process, delegating various tasks to our team as necessary
- Project Management – You’ll be the single point of accountability for delivering all ads, managing each ad like a project with all details thought out and coordinated with your team
- Recruiting – You will recruit new team members as necessary to fill talent gaps, relying on your robust network of people whom you trust to get things done the RIGHT way
What Skills Do You Need?
- Direct-Response Copywriter – You live and breathe persuasive copy, scripting ads that convert from day one.
- 5+ Years of Leadership Experience – Ideally in an agency or fast-paced in-house team with high creative demands.
- Master Storyteller – You architect emotional narratives that connect, inspire, and drive action.
- Strategic Marketer – Deep passion for consumer psychology and an instinct for high-performing creative.
- Multidisciplinary Creative – You can script, storyboard, direct, and oversee video production/editing.
- Results-Obsessed – Your North Star is ROAS. Creative is only successful if it moves the needle.
- Networked & Resourceful – You can pull in top-tier talent for motion graphics, animation, and specialized needs.
