About The Role
The company is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help scale its operations through its next phase of growth. In this role, you will work alongside the digital demand generation & GTM team to clearly and concisely articulate the products value.
The GTM motion is half sales-lead and product-lead - in this role, you will be responsible for content, copy, and resource development that conveys the value proposition to potential prospects (usually targeted towards small IT & security departments or operational departments in the mid-market)
Your day to day might look like:
- Owning product messaging & copy across the website, blog, and various social media channels & digital advertisements, taking end-to-end ownership of the website and working with digital demand generation to optimize it for SEO campaigns.
- Develop sales collateral, slide decks, and any documentation needed by the sales and channel teams to win deals.
- Develop a deep understanding of the value proposition to uniquely position the company in comparison to its competitors
Requirements
Overall, the hiring company is looking for individuals with high-ownership, autonomy, and willingness to learn.
Preferred requirements are flexible, but are loosely:
- 3+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in the B2B mid-market segment
- A bachelor’s degree in a STEM field
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience marketing to IT, Cybersecurity, and Operational departments (optional)
