About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated Content Writer - Copywriter to join our social media team on a part-time, remote basis. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work approximately 20 hours per week, making it ideal for individuals seeking a dynamic and adaptable work schedule. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging, original content tailored to our clients’ marketing needs. Your primary focus will be to develop compelling copy for various platforms, including social media posts, blogs, email campaigns, and other marketing materials. You will collaborate closely with our creative team and clients to understand their brand voice and target audience, ensuring that every piece of content resonates and drives engagement. Your ability to research, brainstorm, and adapt your writing style will be essential in delivering high-quality content that aligns with client goals and brand messaging. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your copywriting expertise, grow your portfolio, and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, creative environment. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 1 year of professional copywriting experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse writing samples
- Exceptional research and content development skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Experience with social media content marketing (preferred)
- Proofreading and editing skills, familiar with standard style guides (preferred)
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Research and understand client brands, target audiences, and industry trends to create relevant content
- Develop original, engaging copy for social media posts, blogs, email campaigns, and other marketing materials
- Collaborate with team members and clients to refine content and ensure alignment with brand voice and objectives
- Present content drafts for review and incorporate feedback to enhance quality and effectiveness
- Assist in building and maintaining content calendars for social media platforms
- Schedule and publish content across various channels in a timely manner
- Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to optimize content performance
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for campaigns and initiatives
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all written materials
