About the Role

As Growth Lead, you will be a senior individual contributor responsible for driving net-new revenue through outbound, relationship-led selling, and strategic account development. This role is hands-on and execution-focused. You will report into and work closely with the Head of Growth to convert Stride’s positioning, brand, and partnerships into a predictable flow of high-quality opportunities and closed revenue. This is a role for someone tenured, commercially sharp, and comfortable owning the full sales cycle from first conversation to close within the tech buyer community.

ResponsibilitiesRevenue & Pipeline Ownership

  • Own a new business quota, aligned to Stride’s annual growth revenue targets.
  • Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, warm introductions, partnerships, and network-led selling.
  • Run full-cycle sales processes: discovery → proposal → close.
  • Focus on net-new logos, with selective involvement in expansion opportunities where relevant.

Tech Buyer Engagement

  • Sell directly to senior buyers within the tech sector (People, HR, Culture, Marketing, Revenue or adjacent leaders).
  • Leverage a strong understanding of how technology organizations buy services, including budget cycles and decision dynamics.
  • Represent Stride credibly in high-trust, peer-level conversations.

Sales Execution & Craft

Work with the Head of Growth to refine:

  • Messaging
  • Sales collateral
  • Proposals and commercial structures
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in HubSpot.
  • Feed market insights back into Growth, Brand, and Product teams.

Commercial Rigor

  • Run deals with discipline: qualification, clear next steps, momentum management.
  • Use data and feedback to continuously improve close rates and deal quality.
  • Operate as a senior IC who raises the commercial bar by example.

Qualifications

  • Quota ownership and attainment.
  • Building a proactive and scalable sales motion from the ground up.
  • In-depth experience in sales, growth, or business development roles.
  • Strong background in traditional net-new sales (services, consulting, or SaaS-adjacent).
  • Proven experience selling into the tech sector with direct buyer exposure.
  • Demonstrated ability to source, manage, and close deals independently.
  • Fluency with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred).
  • Experience working in or alongside early-stage / scaling businesses.

  • Comfortable operating as a senior IC with full ownership.

Pay range and compensation package

$130k base + commission
