Join our studio as a Volunteer 2D Animator and help bring Lumberjack Ember Woods to life in bite-sized, shareable video content! Our 3D platformer is funny and whimsical, set in a forest that’s perpetually on fire—think playful chaos with a cozy yet dangerous vibe. Success in this role means creating animated shorts that capture the game’s humor and fiery personality, making viewers laugh, gasp, and share. You’ll work closely with our marketing and creative team to make sure the animations match the game’s style and tone.

• Responsibilities: Animate short-form content (TikTok, YouTube Shorts) that highlights the game’s humor, characters, and fiery environments.
• Collaborate with the team to translate 3D game assets and concepts into engaging 2D animations for social media.
• Maintain consistency with the game’s whimsical, humorous style and branding.
• Experiment with creative animation techniques to maximize engagement and shareability.
• Respond to feedback and iterate quickly to meet content schedules.
• Qualifications: Proficiency in 2D animation software (e.g., Adobe Animate, After Effects, Toon Boom, or similar).
• Strong storytelling and comedic timing skills tailored for short-form video.
• Passion for games, especially quirky, whimsical platformers.
• Ability to collaborate in a fun, informal studio environment.
• Experience creating content for TikTok or YouTube Shorts is a plus.
• Portfolio or demo reel showcasing 2D animation, especially humorous or character-driven work.
