Our work spans social media management, influencer partnerships, email marketing, media outreach and strategic development across industries like technology, hospitality and restaurants, retail, wholesale and aviation.We’re in an exciting phase of growth and are looking for a part time Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The Marketing Coordinator will support social and content execution across Serendipity & Company’s client portfolio. This role is responsible for creating and managing content calendars across multiple industries, handling community management on client social accounts and helping organize and streamline content-related projects internally.

The ideal candidate stays up to date on trends across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest, has a strong eye for visual aesthetics and brings solid communication and project management skills to the table. This role also supports copywriting for social posts and email campaigns, along with assisting on miscellaneous marketing tasks as needed.

This is a fully remote, part time position that only requires internal communication with the S&C team, but has the potential to grow into a client-facing role. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create ongoing monthly content calendars for all clients across several industries. This includes sourcing images and reels, laying them out to create a feed that matches the client’s aesthetic and mapping out post dates.
  • Streamline project management and organization by uploading and sorting photos, scheduling posts, assigning and monitoring social media copy, tracking progress and ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Spearhead daily community management on client Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook accounts by posting daily stories, following, liking and engaging with other posts and accounts and answering DM’s using the appropriate brand voice.
  • Focus on curated account growth from both a following and engagement perspective.
  • Assist in organizing photoshoots when needed. 
  • Design simple, on-brand graphics and stories for social platforms.
  • Write all social and email copy across a variety of clients using the appropriate brand voice. 
  • Assist with basic marketing tasks when needed.
  • Be available and responsive during standard business hours (9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST)
  • Ability to respond to occasional last-minute or time-sensitive client requests, particularly related to social posting and community management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Meta Business Suite, Canva, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Pinterest. 
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented.
  • Passionate about maintaining each client’s brand through their social media presence.
  • Versatile and able to work with clients across a variety of industries.
  • Comfortable working independently while taking direction.
  • Excited about design and visual aesthetics.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Willing to be on their phone often and has a good pulse on trends. This position will involve monitoring social accounts on the weekends. 
  • Salary + Benefits: This is a contract position with a monthly retainer of up to $2000 based on 20-25 hours a week. The Marketing Coordinator will have flexibility in setting their daily availability. The role includes a mix of collaborative work with the team and independent time dedicated to community management.
