Marketing Director (Direct Response & Funnel Operations)

I'm partnering with a fast-scaling global digital business in the trading education and online products space to find a top-tier Marketing Director.

This is not a traditional brand role. My client is looking for a hands-on, high-performance operator who can take full ownership of marketing execution and deliver at speed.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for owning and executing direct response marketing operations across funnels, campaigns, and joint ventures—ensuring everything is built, tested, and deployed flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and oversee end-to-end marketing funnels (pages, checkout, emails, follow-ups)
  • Manage and optimise GoHighLevel (GHL) or similar CRM systems and integrations
  • Enforce rigorous pre-launch QA and testing protocols (links, tracking, flows, mobile, payments)
  • Lead joint venture campaigns with global partners
  • Manage agencies and internal teams (design, copy, media buyers)
  • Drive adoption of AI and automation workflows to increase speed and output
  • Oversee email marketing strategy, segmentation, and deliverability
  • Lead testing and optimisation strategy across funnels and campaigns

  • Funnels are live, tested, and converting before traffic hits
  • Campaigns launch on time, every time
  • Execution is flawless—no broken links, no missed details
  • JV campaigns are coordinated, smooth, and profitable
  • Issues are identified and solved before they escalate

  • Proven experience in direct response marketing and funnel execution
  • Hands-on experience with GHL or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of conversion principles, email marketing, and tracking
  • Exceptional attention to detail and QA discipline
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident leader, experienced in managing stakeholders, teams, and agencies
