What You’ll Be Doing

This is a casual remote role as a Web Development Specialist. You’ll be responsible for both front-end and light back-end work, helping us build websites that look great and perform well.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and building websites using Squarespace, WIX and simple custom setups
• Updating and maintaining existing client websites
• Troubleshooting issues and ensuring responsive, accessible design
• Working with our creative team to bring brand stories to life online
• Suggesting smart and scalable solutions that balance function and design
• Keeping up with current web trends and technologies

What We’re Looking ForEssential skills and qualities:

• One to three years of experience in web design or development
• Experience with Squarespace, WIX or other build your own website platforms
• Confident working with HTML and CSS
• A good eye for layout, typography and user experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals
• Familiarity with JavaScript or light back-end functionality
• Experience collaborating with branding or content teams
• A degree in web development, computer science or a related field is helpful but not essential
