About the role

PinkSEO is looking for an experienced SEO professional to join our small, experienced team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning SEO accounts end-to-end, building long-term client relationships, and delivering consistent, high-quality SEO through thoughtful, evidence-led decisions rather than chasing every new trend.

If you value clarity, trust, and doing SEO properly, we’d love to hear from you.

About Us

We’re PinkSEO, an award-winning, pure-play SEO agency specialising in on-page SEO for SMEs in the medical, legal, e-commerce and B2B sectors.

We’ve grown steadily and organically through:

  • Transparent, data-led SEO strategies
  • Strong client relationships and long-term retention
  • A genuinely supportive, experienced team

We value integrity, sustainability, reliability and a healthy work/life balance.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced SEO Executive / Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts.

You’ll be responsible not just for SEO performance, but also for client confidence, clarity and satisfaction. That means delivering solid SEO results, communicating clearly and building trusted, long-term relationships.

This is a hands-on, client-facing SEO role. You’ll be expected to think independently, make sound prioritisation decisions and decide what not to do as much as what to focus on.

This is a fully remote, part-time role of 20 hours per week, with some flexibility around core team hours on weekdays between 10am and 2pm.

This is a permanent part-time role designed for an experienced SEO professional.

What You’ll Do

SEO Strategy & Account Management

  • Own a portfolio of SEO clients end-to-end
  • Ensure both SEO performance and relationship health across your accounts
  • Act as the main point of contact for your clients, building trust and confidence
  • Lead SEO strategy for your accounts from planning through to delivery, review and refinement

SEO Strategy & Delivery

  • Carry out and interpret site audits, keyword research, competitor analysis and content gap analysis
  • Prioritise SEO actions based on impact, risk and available time
  • Optimise metadata, internal linking and on-page content
  • Identify and brief technical improvements including crawlability, redirects, schema, hreflang and site structure
  • Create clear content briefs and collaborate closely with our writers
  • Monitor performance and adjust strategy based on evidence and results.

Client Communication & Reporting

  • Lead client calls, reviews and ongoing communication
  • Explain SEO progress and decisions clearly to non-technical clients
  • Produce clear, practical reports and recommendations
  • Set expectations confidently and realistically
  • Address concerns early and professionally to maintain long-term trust

Process, Systems & Team Collaboration

  • Keep delivery organised across multiple clients with clear priorities and follow-through
  • Contribute to improving and documenting repeatable SEO processes
  • Share insights, learning and ideas with the wider team
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues while taking responsibility for your decisions and outcomes.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with agency experience strongly preferred
  • Experience independently owning and managing SEO client accounts
  • Strong on-page and technical SEO knowledge, with enough depth to diagnose issues and brief specialists
  • An ethical, brand-safe approach to link acquisition, including approaches such as digital PR, unlinked mentions, competitor backlink gap analysis and relevant citations
  • Confident, clear communication skills with non-technical clients
  • A considered, professional approach to decision-making and problem-solving
  • The ability to work effectively within defined scopes, priorities and client budgets
  • Experience using GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Semrush, SE Ranking or similar tools
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace or Webflow
  • Fluent, native-level English

Bonus, but not required:

  • Experience with international SEO and hreflang.

What’s In It for You

  • £30,000 FTE, pro rata for 20 hours, equivalent to £15,000 per year
  • Fully remote, UK-based role
  • Flexible, family-friendly working culture
  • Real ownership and autonomy over your client accounts
  • A collaborative team that values quality, evidence and ethical SEO
  • The opportunity to help improve how we work as an agency.

PinkSEO is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team where everyone belongs, regardless of age, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or religion.
