Role Description The Vice President Marketing Communications is a full-time remote role responsible for leading Pearl Publications’ brand, messaging, and communication strategies across all channels. This role oversees the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and partner initiatives, to increase awareness and adoption of the company’s educational products. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing strategic communication plans, managing media and public relations, guiding content creation for marketing assets, and ensuring consistent brand positioning. The Vice President will collaborate with leadership, sales, and product teams to align marketing communications with business goals, analyze campaign performance, and optimize strategies based on data-driven insights. This role also involves mentoring a communications team, managing external agencies or vendors, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the education sector.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Marketing Communications and Strategic Communications, with the ability to craft clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
- Experience in Marketing and Integrated Marketing, including developing and executing cross-channel campaigns that support brand and revenue objectives.
- Proven skills in Media Relations, including building relationships with press, securing coverage, and managing public-facing communications.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience guiding marketing or communications professionals and collaborating across departments.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and make data-informed decisions using analytics and performance metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and a strategic mindset focused on educational or publishing markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or equivalent experience in education publishing or EdTech is beneficial.
