Position Summary The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Business Analyst partners with business and marketing teams to analyze, optimize, and automate processes within the Salesforce ecosystem. This role supports the design, configuration, and administration of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and its integrations with CRM systems. Acting as the liaison between business and technical teams, the analyst translates marketing and operational needs into scalable Salesforce solutions with a focus on data integrity, automation, and campaign effectiveness.
Essential Responsibilities

Partner with business and marketing teams to identify automation and optimization opportunities across Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Support the execution of Salesforce strategies to enhance marketing operations and customer engagement.

Facilitate meetings with marketing and business leaders to align on technology roadmaps and priorities.

Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical documentation.

Document and visualize current and future-state marketing and customer journey processes.

Coordinate cross-functional teams through release cycles, integrations, and deployments.

Analyze campaign and user data to identify trends and recommend improvements.

Maintain dashboards, reports, and data quality processes to support segmentation and performance tracking.

Stay current on Salesforce and Marketing Cloud updates to drive continuous improvement.

Develop training materials, user stories, and test scripts to support adoption and enablement.

Ensure data accuracy and governance across integrated systems.

Participate in testing and UAT to validate new features and enhancements.
Experience & Skills
-
5+ years of business analysis experience, preferably in marketing, financial services, or technology.

3-5 years of Salesforce experience, including 2+ years with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, etc.)

Strong understanding of marketing automation, data segmentation, and campaign analytics.

Skilled in translating business needs into Salesforce solutions and technical requirements.

Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Experience creating user stories, process documentation, and test cases.
Education & Certifications

Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred (Marketing, Business, or Information Systems).

Salesforce Administrator (ADM201) and Marketing Cloud certifications preferred.

IIBA or similar Business Analysis certification a plus.
