• Location: 100% Remote (Candidates residing near Syracuse / Skaneateles, NY are welcome to work on-site, but it is not required)

• Work Schedule: Traditional business hours supporting US Eastern and Central time zones (Core hours fall between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST)

Overview

Work with a leading firm in the industrial technology space as a Communications Specialist supporting an innovative Remote Visual Inspection team. In this role, you will act as a key marketing generalist, taking ownership of day-to-day communications, digital asset maintenance, and essential design workflows. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in an autonomous, highly collaborative remote environment and wants to play a tangible part in keeping channel partners and stakeholders seamlessly aligned.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day content management operations, focusing heavily on updating, maintaining, and formatting existing technical documents across multiple digital platforms.

• Execute minor, ad-hoc graphic design tasks to create both digital and print materials, such as upcoming event pull-up banners, ensuring compliance with strict company brand standards.

• Facilitate email marketing campaigns to channel partners using Salesforce platforms, managing basic distributions and list coordination.

• Coordinate cross-functionally with external third-party creative agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure documentation updates are accurate and processed within desired timeframes.

• Perform minor video editing tasks on legacy campaign assets using Premiere Pro, such as cutting clips or blurring out outdated logos to maintain compliance.

• Attend weekly alignment check-ins and individual meetings to report on priorities, progress, and project obstacles.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor`s degree.

• Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in corporate communications, content marketing, or general marketing roles.

• Hands-on proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite tools, specifically a strong foundational command of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat.

• Prior experience utilizing a Content Management System (CMS), such as Drupal, WordPress, or similar tools, to perform website layout formatting and text updates.

• Proven track record of operating successfully as a self-motivated remote worker with exceptional personal accountability and time-management skills.

• High comfort level producing or modifying both print-ready layouts and digital asset designs.

• Must provide a professional portfolio or design samples demonstrating prior layout, document formatting, or website contribution work upon application.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working within niche, highly technical B2B sectors such as Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), aerospace, aviation maintenance (MRO), power generation, industrial engineering, or pharmaceuticals.

• Experience executing basic, compliance-driven video edits using Adobe Premiere Pro.

• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar email marketing platforms for outbound communications.

• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related discipline (comparable professional experience is fully accepted).
