Margheriti Consulting is an AI and automation consulting firm helping Australian SMEs and mid-market businesses find and fix the processes that are quietly costing them time and money. Our engagements typically recover 10–30 hours a week in operational overhead, and the businesses we work with see ROI within the first 90 days.
We work across professional services, trades, healthcare, finance, legal, and real estate — and we're growing fast.
We're looking for one person to help us grow faster.
THE ROLE
Your job is simple: find the right businesses, start the right conversations, and book discovery calls with decision-makers.
You won't be doing cold pitches or reading from a script. You'll be representing a firm with genuine credibility, a clear offer, and a track record of delivering real results. The hard part of the sale - demonstrating value, scoping the engagement, closing - is handled by the founder.
You bring the lead. We close it. You earn.
This is a part-time contractor role. There are no set hours, no office, and no micromanagement. You work when and how you want, from wherever you are.
THE COMMISSION STRUCTURE
This is a pure commission role - and that's intentional.
When a business you introduced signs a consulting engagement, you keep 50% of the first month's contract value. Our engagements run from $3,500 to $20,000 per month, which means your commission on a single closed deal sits between $1,750 and $10,000.
There's no cap, no tiered structure, and no clawbacks. You book it, we close it, you get paid.
For the right person - someone who's good at building rapport, opening doors, and staying consistent - this structure is significantly more lucrative than a salaried outbound role. You're not trading your time for a flat rate. You're building a book of introductions that pays on results.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You don't need a background in AI or technology. You do need:
· Strong communication skills - written and verbal
· Comfort reaching out to business owners and senior decision-makers
· Self-direction - you manage your own time and pipeline
· Resilience - outbound work involves rejection, and that doesn't rattle you
· An understanding of how Australian SMEs think and operate (lived experience counts)
Experience in B2B outreach, sales development, or appointment setting is a plus. So is familiarity with tools like LinkedIn, Apollo, or a CRM.
