The Role
We’re looking for a Lifecycle & Retention Marketing Manager to own how customers experience Mandala after their first purchase.
You’ll be responsible for email, SMS, and retention programs that increase AOV, repeat purchase rate, and LTV—working closely with our Head of Growth.
What You’ll Do
- Own email and SMS marketing strategy and execution (campaigns + flows)
- Build and optimize automated flows: welcome, post-purchase, cross-sell, winback, replenishment, lapsed, VIP, etc.
- Segment our customer base and create personalized journeys for new, active, VIP, and at-risk customers
- Partner with paid and site teams to ensure landing pages, offers, and flows are aligned
- Run ongoing A/B tests on subject lines, creative, send times, offers, and flows
- Monitor and improve key retention metrics: repeat purchase rate, LTV, churn, unsubscribes, spam complaints
- Keep a close eye on deliverability and list health (sunset policies, hygiene, opt-in quality)
- Collaborate with our ambassador/referral efforts so we turn happy customers into advocates
- Report clearly on performance and learnings in a way that drives decisions, not just dashboards
What We’re Looking For
- 4–6+ years in lifecycle / retention / CRM marketing for DTC brands
- Hands-on experience with Klaviyo (flows, campaigns, segmentation, reporting)
- Strong grasp of LTV, cohort behavior, repeat rate, and payback windows
- You’re comfortable pulling lists, building segments, and reading data—not just briefing others
- Solid testing mindset: hypotheses, test plans, and documented learnings
- Strong writing instincts and an eye for clean, on-brand creative (you don’t need to be a designer, but you know what good looks like)
