At Leonardo.Ai, we are building a state-of-the-art generative content production platform that integrates various forms of Generative AI. Our tools and workflows are designed to enhance and accelerate asset production, offering innovative solutions to creative professionals. Leonardo.Ai is helping people bring their creative ideas to life with the power of generative AI. We’re looking for a Senior Designer / Art Director who can take abstract ideas and make them move in ways that are visually exciting, emotionally resonant, and technically tight. You’ll be joining a fast-paced creative team where experimentation, storytelling, and polish all matter. This role sits in-house creative studio pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with generative video and image tools. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Designer / Art Director. The Senior Art Director will oversee creative projects, direct the artistic vision, create high-quality graphics, and ensure cohesive branding. You’ll concept, design, and guide visual direction across creative campaigns, social content, product marketing, and more. You’ll help evolve and extend our visual system while collaborating closely with copywriters, motion designers, and other partners across the company. Responsibilities / What You’ll Do

  • Design and direct visual systems for campaigns, launches, and editorial stories
  • Build out visual identity guidelines and apply them across various formats
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring creative ideas to life
  • Lead or support design efforts across digital, social, and product environments
  • Work hands-on in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and generative tools
  • Present your work clearly and participate in crits with an open, collaborative mindset

Requirements / What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in brand, marketing, or art direction roles
  • A portfolio that shows taste, originality, and range across formats
  • Strong visual storytelling and typography skills
  • Experience with brand systems and campaign development
  • Ability to work independently and provide clear creative direction
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and familiarity with AI image generation tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A strategic thinker who can connect design to business and user goals

Nice to have

  • Experience leading creative teams or giving direction to junior designers
  • Familiarity with motion design and how to brief motion partners
  • Comfort working in fast-paced or startup environments
  • Background in visual identity or rebranding work
  • Interest in generative AI and new creative workflows
