Location: Franklin Lakes, New JerseyJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $40 - 45 per hourEducation: Bachelors Responsibilities The Web and Email Designer is responsible for converting designs, text, and images into functional Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) pages and Marketo/Knak emails. This position involves collaborating with marketing and product leadership to develop and keep website content, graphics, and images current. Ideal candidates will have a BS/MS in a field like Human-Computer Interaction or Visual Arts, at least two years of relevant experience, and a portfolio demonstrating strong front-end skills. Experience with AEM, Marketo, and Knak is required, and an Adobe Marketo Engage certification is mandatory. This position will work 30 hours per week.Responsibilities: Convert design comps, text and images, to quality Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) pages Develop email information into functioning Marketo/Knak emails Work with product marketing, product leadership, and marketing leadership to keep website content and images current Develop website content and graphics by coordinating with copywriters, graphic artists, marketing leadership; mastering/sizing images, icons, and visual enhancements Update digital content and graphics; monitor performance and results; identify and evaluate improvement options; introduce new technology; maintain links and online documents Communicate to internal teams on all issues relating to the website; troubleshoot website-related issues Adhere to and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards Qualifications BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Interactive Design or a Visual Arts subject 2+ years relevant web design and coding experience required Demonstrable strong front-end website management skills with portfolio Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Experience building emails, landing pages and programs in Marketo and Knak Strong proofreading and communication skills Strong experience mastering, sizing, and managing images Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction Proficient understanding of the web development process (design, development, deployment) Good understanding of web security and best practice Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively Up-to-date with the latest web trends, techniques and technologies Adobe Marketo Engage Digital Marketer, Certified Professional and/or Business Practitioner certification required.
