This role is both strategic and hands-on — balancing analytical rigor with creative intuition. You’ll oversee paid media strategy, channel optimization, and performance analytics to drive meaningful growth while ensuring that every message stays true to who we are.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPerformance Marketing Leadership

  • Partner with the VP of Ecommerce to shape and execute a full-funnel marketing strategy that grows awareness, acquisition, and loyalty.
  • Manage and optimize paid media investments across Google Ads, Meta, Affiliates, and emerging channels — balancing scale and efficiency with brand integrity.
  • Collaborate with Creative and Brand to ensure every campaign feels authentic, on-mission, and emotionally resonant.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics (CAC, ROAS, LTV/CAC, and more) to continuously improve efficiency and impact.
  • Build and maintain insightful dashboards and reports that tell the story behind the numbers and guide decision-making.
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify trends, new opportunities, and areas for innovation.

Partnerships & Execution

  • Lead and nurture strong partnerships with agencies, platforms, and internal stakeholders, ensuring collaboration and clarity at every step.
  • Partner with creative teams to brief and review paid assets that are both conversion-oriented and beautifully on-brand.
  • Work closely with CRM and eCommerce teams to create cohesive, customer-centric growth strategies.

Innovation & Growth

  • Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, platform evolutions, and new technologies relevant to DTC brands.
  • Identify and test new channels, partnerships, and tactics that drive sustainable growth.
  • Champion process and tool improvements that make marketing smarter, faster, and more insightful.

QualificationsRequired

  • 5-7+ years of experience in performance marketing with a strong focus on DTC beauty, personal care, or prestige/luxury consumer brands.
  • Demonstrated success scaling paid media programs to drive new customer acquisition and profitable LTV growth.
  • Deep expertise in Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and affiliate channels, and platform nuances in beauty (creative trends, audience shifts, etc.).
  • Experience collaborating closely with Brand, Creative, and Ecommerce teams to shape best-in-class paid creative rooted in product benefits and claims.
  • Skilled in pulling and analyzing performance data from GA4, Shopify, Meta, or similar tools to influence spend decisions and business outcomes.
  • Proven leadership and ability to educate stakeholders on performance insights and strategy.

Preferred

  • Understanding of launch-driven retail environments (Sephora) and how paid media supports omnichannel growth.
  • Experience with user-generated content (UGC), influencer partnerships, and paid creator models that drive conversion in beauty.
  • Passion for the beauty category and emerging digital/creator trends.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
