This role is a high-impact position responsible for managing and optimizing affiliate marketing programs with a focus on driving profitability and maximizing performance across multiple channels. The Performance Marketing Manager will oversee multi-million dollar budgets, manage vendor and affiliate relationships, and implement strategic initiatives to enhance lead generation and campaign efficiency. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on management of affiliate tracking systems. The role offers a remote work environment, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a measurable impact on direct-to-consumer marketing outcomes. Accountabilities
- Manage end-to-end affiliate marketing programs, including daily, weekly, and monthly performance monitoring and optimization.
- Launch and scale affiliate call programs, driving profitability and budget growth.
- Oversee channel administration, including affiliate mix optimization, insertion order management, and billing reconciliation.
- Implement features and improvements for affiliate call and data programs, ensuring compliance and performance standards.
- Onboard and manage vendors, including contracting, compliance, systems setup, tracking, and testing.
- Analyze long-term affiliate performance, identify trends, and recommend strategies to maximize KPIs.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and performance dashboards.
- Support ongoing testing, funnel optimization, and monetization opportunities with data partners.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in performance marketing, preferably in direct-to-consumer or online lead generation.
- Proven experience managing multi-million dollar budgets.
- Expertise in affiliate tracking software such as Active Prospect, Invoca, Everflow, Cake, or TUNE.
- Solid understanding of digital lead acquisition channels including email, display, and paid social.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel, Tableau, or similar tools for data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of preparing clear, compelling business reviews.
- Strong project management abilities to organize and manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Ability to prioritize high-impact work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Curiosity and problem-solving mindset, constantly seeking opportunities to optimize performance.
