Job DescriptionWhat do we do?

The client offers digital product companies a distinctive approach to their payment infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, they operate as a Merchant of Record for their customers, alleviating the pain of payment fragmentation entirely. This approach is faster, safer, and more cost-effective.

The Role:

The client is seeking a resourceful, ambitious, and autonomous sales specialist, preferably with a strong understanding of SaaS or Payments, to contribute to ambitious growth plans in the UK. This is an exciting time to join, with the client experiencing unprecedented growth.

As a key member of the Sales team, your primary focus will be to convert qualified leads into delighted customers. You'll engage with a diverse range of companies across industries such as SaaS, AI, and established enterprises. Your role is crucial in defining, driving, and achieving revenue targets, ultimately helping to position the client's solution as the go-to option for SaaS businesses worldwide.

What you'll do:

  • Build pipeline from leads provided by Business Development Representatives and Marketing, as well as self-sourced opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting, qualifying, conducting demos, to closing deals.
  • Master the client's product, understand the industry, and articulate its value to CTOs, Heads of Product, and CEOs.
  • Collaborate with management and departments (Marketing, Product, Success, etc.) to determine effective approaches for each sales opportunity.
  • Identify product flaws during the sales process to inform sales techniques and product roadmap.
  • Continuously develop sales skills with regular training and evolve as a thought leader in the industry.
  • Mentor new Account Executives during their onboarding process.

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Have extensive closing experience in a software or SaaS environment, managing complex sales processes and enterprise deals.
  • Have experience with consultative, value-based selling and a successful track record of exceeding quotas.
  • Have experience selling highly technical products/services.
  • Excel at liaising with prospective clients in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial attitude, thrive in solving complex challenges, and wish to be part of a fast-growing company.

It'd be great if:

  • You have experience in the payments space or selling B2B SaaS.
  • You have prior experience at a growth-stage Internet/software company.
  • You have experience selling to technical individuals such as CTOs, Heads of Product, or Technical Founders.
  • You’re familiar with eCommerce providers and subscription-based services.
  • You can operate in an unstructured, self-starting environment.

Diversity and Inclusion:

The client is committed to eliminating invisible barriers for customers and internal teams. They celebrate uniqueness and welcome diverse perspectives. As an inclusive employer, they focus on craft, curiosity, and cultural contribution rather than educational or personal backgrounds.

Applicants from underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply. The client offers support for accommodations throughout the application process and in the workplace, committed to fostering a diverse team where everyone can be their authentic self.
