About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing SaaS company in the Payroll and Human Capital Management (HCM) space. They’re expanding their sales team and hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to support the next phase of growth. In this role, you’ll help drive new business by generating and qualifying sales opportunities through outbound outreach and inbound follow-up.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with a clear path for advancement.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $50,000–$60,000
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): Up to $100,000 (SQL bonuses + 1.5% of revenue from sourced deals that close)

What You’ll Do
- Identify and qualify new leads across several verticals
- Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Follow up on inbound leads from marketing campaigns
- Book and confirm discovery calls for Account Executives
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to improve outreach strategy
- Keep records and activity updated in HubSpot
- Attend select trade shows and industry events as needed
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of experience in a BDR/SDR or lead generation role
- Background in SaaS sales preferred
- Comfortable speaking with VP and C-level executives (HR, Finance, Operations)
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and coachable
- Familiarity with HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Apollo, or similar sales tools
- Bonus: Experience in payroll, HCM, or healthcare tech
