We’re a growing taco stall at St Andrews Market, passionate about serving birria tacos and building a community around our brand. After recently having a few customers come from different social media channels and realising how little we are capitalising on marketing potential – we are now looking to find someone who knows exactly how to take a food product that is high quality and convert online views into in person sales.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a data-driven marketing contractor to audit our current social media efforts, provide strategic recommendations, and execute on marketing that translates to in-person sales. With a recent TikTok of ours doing 250k views (and from seeing how viral videos of birria tacos can go), we know the product itself in the hands of the right marketer can do very well. If you end up having a measurable positive impact on our business, it will not go unappreciated, and we will be looking to further invest in your marketing talents!

CORE GOAL:Getting People to come to our stall and buy our tacos (through the medium or technique you know works).Key Responsibilities

• Social Media Audit & Analysis
• Conduct a concise review of our Instagram and TikTok performance (e.g., first customer via Instagram; 250K-view TikTok video; boosted Instagram stall post).
• Identify strengths, gaps, and quick-win opportunities.

• Strategy Development
• Draw on past successes: detail how you’ve driven in-person sales at other QSR or hospitality brands.

• Execution & Optimization
• Implement campaigns & monitor KPIs (engagement, reach, conversions → store visits) and iterate to maximize ROI.

• Reporting & Recommendations
• Deliver daily reports with actionable insights based on real-world results.

Qualifications

• Proven track record marketing and results achieved is essential
• Quick service restaurants or similar hospitality brand work is a MASSIVE plus
• Hands-on experience with organic and paid marketing strategies
• Strong analytical skills: comfortable interpreting social metrics and translating them into growth strategies
• Excellent communication and project-management skills
• Passionate about what you do

2.     One case study or example where you drove in-person traffic for a QSR or similar brand—highlighting tactics and results.

3.     Your proposed high-level approach to bringing more customers through our market stall and into our upcoming store.

Some current notes to take into account in your analysis and plan ideas:

1.     We have reached out to a very small number of Instagram “foodie” influencers for a free meal – but most noted the distance out to St Andrews as too far.

2.     One couple came from the 250k TikTok video (after seeing another TikTok post about having a stall that weekend), and One lady has come from Instragram.

3.     Currently average about 1 or 2 calls from Google a month asking where and when we operate, but have not seemed to convert any to in person sales.

We are looking to find someone who can confidently look at these very beginner level marketing efforts and results, and feel excited and passionate about being the person to take it to the next level and get clear results.
