We are passionate about creating impactful solutions and are looking for a Director of Digital Marketing and Sales – Managed Services to join our dynamic team and help drive our ambitious goals.

Role Description:

As Director of Digital Marketing and Sales – Managed Services, you will play a pivotal, hands-on role in both strategizing and executing digital marketing initiatives while actively driving sales efforts. You will develop and implement advanced marketing strategies tailored to client needs, identify new business opportunities, and contribute directly to revenue growth. This is a hands-on position without direct reports to start with, where you will personally manage tasks across both digital marketing and sales functions to propel our company's growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies for clients across channels such as social media, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Align marketing initiatives with both client and company business goals to drive growth and enhance brand awareness.
  • Utilize analytics tools to monitor campaign performance for clients, interpret data, and derive actionable insights.
  • Conduct A/B testing and optimize campaigns based on performance metrics and data analysis.
  • Stay current with industry trends in digital marketing and emerging technologies.
  • Introduce and leverage advanced tools and platforms to improve campaign effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base and drive sales growth.
  • Engage in prospecting activities, including networking, outreach, and participating in industry events to generate leads.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Design and implement strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention for clients and our company.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Develop and execute growth marketing experiments to test innovative ideas and new channels.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams—such as product development and design—to ensure cohesive messaging and seamless delivery.
  • Provide feedback and insights based on Managed Services client interactions and market research to enhance our services and offerings.
  • Prepare detailed reports for clients and internal stakeholders to demonstrate outcomes, ROI, and areas for improvement.
  • Adjust and refine strategies based on data-driven insights to continuously optimize results and meet targets.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in digital marketing and sales, preferably within a managed services environment or agency.
  • Proven track record of managing client relationships and executing successful digital marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities within Managed Services.
  • Deep expertise in social media platforms, digital marketing channels, online advertising, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot).
  • Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SEO/SEM strategies and tools to enhance online visibility and traffic for Managed Services clients.
  • Prior experience working in a startup or high-growth company, comfortable with wearing multiple hats.
  • Contributions to marketing thought leadership or published articles in digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with growth hacking techniques and experimental marketing.
