Social Media Content Strategist

We're seeking a LinkedIn-savvy Social Media Content Strategist with a keen eye for the latest AI tools and trends. You'll be responsible for summarizing complex content, researching emerging AI technologies, and creating compelling, timely posts that resonate with our audience.

The ideal candidate deeply understands LinkedIn algorithms, excels at identifying and shaping engaging content, and can effectively coach creators and clients in developing posts that boost engagement and expand reach. Your role will include reviewing and refining content, crafting high-performing social posts, and ensuring GenAI Works consistently delivers trend-worthy, educational, and impactful content.

What You'll Do

• Content Review & Editing: Review and enhance user-generated content (UGC) and client submissions to optimize their performance and engagement on LinkedIn.
• Content Strategy: Develop strategic content aligned with current trends, LinkedIn algorithm updates, and viral storytelling techniques to maximize reach and engagement.
• Content Creation: Craft compelling original posts and captions for significant announcements, customer success highlights, and trending topics.
• Platform Expertise: Maintain expertise on the latest LinkedIn and Instagram algorithm changes, engagement best practices, and effective content formats.
• Video & Image Creation: Produce and edit engaging visual content, including basic video editing and graphic design, to complement posts and increase visual appeal.
• Performance Feedback: Partner with growth and analytics teams to evaluate content effectiveness, refine strategies, and guide future content planning.
• Community & PR Support (Bonus): Assist with creating content for high-profile PR initiatives and amplifying standout community-generated content. Experience in PR is advantageous.

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years in content strategy, social media editing, or digital storytelling
• Strong knowledge of LinkedIn algorithms and content that performs (bonus if you’ve managed or supported large pages)
• Experience editing and optimizing user content for tone, clarity, and engagement
• A sharp understanding of what makes content go viral across social platforms
• Familiarity with GenAI tools for content creation and enhancement
• Bonus: PR or communications background, especially around content amplification
• Excellent or Fluent English and storytelling instincts
