A rapidly scaling eCommerce brand in the kitchen tools and food preparation category is seeking a Performance Creative Strategist who lives and breathes paid media and understands how to turn customer psychology into high-performing creative. This person will own the creative testing roadmap across paid social, with a primary focus on Meta.
This role sits at the intersection of creative and analytics. You will build and implement structured testing frameworks, generate and iterate on concepts, and translate performance data into clear next steps. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment across marketing strategy and creative, that campaigns are continuously optimized, and that all initiatives ladder up to shared growth goals.

Responsibilities
- Own creative strategy and testing across paid social, with Meta as the primary focus
- Build and implement structured creative testing frameworks across ads, landing pages, hooks, and customer avatars
- Continuously analyze performance data and translate insights into new creative concepts and iterations
- Develop performance-driven video ad concepts, including writing scripts and framing high-level positioning
- Brief and manage two video editors to execute on paid media creative
- Develop a strategy and best practices for leveraging TikTok creator and UGC footage into paid ads
- Lead ongoing customer research and data analysis to optimize performance and identify growth opportunities
- Contribute to photography planning and support 1-2 shoots per year, with greater emphasis on video over graphic-heavy design
- Stay current on new tools, trends, and testing methodologies within the Meta ecosystem, as well as emerging platforms
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in DTC CPG, ideally in a performance marketing or creative strategy role
- Deep hands-on and strategic experience optimizing creative for paid media on Meta
- Creative and analytical, with the ability to balance performance data and concept development
- Strong understanding of customer psychology and direct response principles
- Hands-on experience implementing and managing creative testing frameworks
- Experience testing landing pages in tandem with paid social creative
- Exposure to TikTok style creative or UGC integration
- Comfortable working closely with founders in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
