About the Role
The Event Coordinator will extend FoodChain ID's growth by providing executional and oversight capacity for all events supporting the TSEA (Technical Services) division. The role will build on wider company learnings to transform events into significant sales opportunities.
FoodChain ID has identified a tactical playbook for trade show execution. To implement the learnings, we require a role dedicated to event planning. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of event management and skills in project management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and run events based on the strategy developed alongside the Growth Marketing Director and TSEA Division.
- Handle communication with sales teams and GMs, event timelines, budgets, subcontractors and resource/staffing allocation.
- Collaborate with divisional Product Marketing Manager for messaging and materials.
- Conduct pre-event team meetings for planning and post-event evaluations, with support from the communications/brand director.
- Maintain metrics across events, such as leads, cost-per-lead, MQLs, opportunity value, and closed-won sales value.
Experience
- Demonstrated skills in project management.
- 2 to 4 years of event management experience.
It would be advantageous, but not necessary, if you have experience with:
- B2B marketing.
- The food and beverage industry, agriculture or testing and certification services.
- Marketing automation platforms such as Pardot, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of CRM systems such as Salesforce, including the principles of integration between CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
Organizational
This role sits in the marketing team and reports to the Director, Corporate Marketing.
