Senior Product Manager – Card Payments

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our card processing (acceptance) products.

This is a high-impact role focused on optimising payment performance, strengthening network and acquirer relationships, and delivering innovative card-based solutions that drive merchant success and business growth.

A deep understanding of network tokenisation and proven experience with API-driven product development are essential. You’ll be at the centre of key initiatives that enhance authorisation performance, security, and the customer payment experience.

Key Responsibilities

🎯 Product Strategy & Ownership

• Define and deliver the strategic roadmap for Card Payments in line with business goals.
• Act as the subject matter expert on card payments, guiding internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead the evolution of network tokenisation capabilities to strengthen authorisation performance and improve merchant conversion.
• Identify and execute new revenue opportunities through tokenisation, authentication, and digital payment innovation.
• Monitor market, scheme, and regulatory trends to maintain a competitive and compliant offering.

🔍 Discovery & Design

• Lead product discovery and validation using data, research, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with design and research to create user-centred payment solutions.
• Analyse card usage and trends to uncover opportunities for growth and differentiation.

🤝 Customer & Partner Engagement

• Build strong relationships with acquirers, schemes, and technology partners.
• Represent the company in client and partner meetings, sharing insight and driving collaboration.
• Engage with merchants to understand evolving needs in digital and recurring commerce.

📊 Performance & Optimisation

• Monitor KPIs to improve authorisation rates, routing efficiency, and fraud prevention.
• Drive initiatives that enhance token lifecycle management and network token adoption.
• Use data analytics to inform continuous product improvements and maximise performance.

🚀 Delivery & Execution

• Translate strategy into actionable requirements for engineering and API integrations.
• Deliver scalable, high-quality products enabling seamless connectivity across networks and partners.
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, and compliance teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Champion best practices in delivery, ensuring measurable business impact.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of product management experience within payments, fintech, or acquiring.
• Deep knowledge of network tokenisation (Visa, Mastercard, or similar).
• Strong technical understanding of APIs, integrations, and related delivery challenges.
• Commercial mindset and ability to link product outcomes to revenue growth.
• Experience working within regulated environments (PCI DSS, PSD2, SCA).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven record of delivering product innovations with measurable financial results.
