Marketing & Growth Lead – Part-Time, Remote (AU)

Employment Star is Australia’s go-to specialist for fast, flexible Employment Hero implementations and outsourced HR and payroll services. We are bringing our marketing in-house and need a hands-on growth leader to build demand and elevate our brand.

The Opportunity

• Engagement: Permanent part-time, approximately 15 hours per week (hours are negotiable)
• Location: Work from anywhere in Australia, with occasional attendance at networking events when required
• Salary: $80,000 to $100,000 (FTE) - will be prorated based on number of hours per week
• Reports to: Director

Key Responsibilities

• Digital Growth: Own SEO, CRO, Google Ads, and develop future LinkedIn paid campaigns
• Content & Thought Leadership: Maintain the blog, publish six new SEO-optimised posts per month, and create engaging LinkedIn assets
• Website Ownership: Manage and optimise WordPress/Webflow, oversee marketing tools, and build high-converting landing pages
• Creative & Collateral: Design brochures, event decks, and animated explainers
• Events & Partnerships: Provide copy and promotional kits for webinars and live events
• Analytics & Reporting: Build GA4 and LinkedIn dashboards; present insights monthly
• Business Development Support: Represent Employment Star at networking events and collaborate on lead-generation initiatives

What You Bring

• Three or more years in B2B digital marketing, ideally within professional services or SaaS
• Deep expertise in SEO, CRO, and Google Ads, plus confidence to craft a LinkedIn paid strategy
• Strong copywriting and content-creation skills (long-form and social)
• Hands-on CMS management (WordPress/Webflow), basic HTML/CSS, and design capability (Adobe CC or Canva)
• A data-driven mindset balanced with creative storytelling, and the ability to translate metrics for non-marketers
