Summary:
We’re looking for a relationship-driven Senior Associate to help DigiLance grow its presence in Spain. This is a freelance role for someone who enjoys building opportunities, connecting with the right people, and seeing tangible results from their work.
This is a freelance, results-driven role with a probationary period of 3 months, $1,200–$1,500/month plus 6–8% commission on total revenue. You’ll focus on securing RFPs, generating leads, and opening strategic partnerships. Freedom comes with accountability; we measure what matters: deals closed, RFPs gained, and partnerships built.
We’re seeking candidates who are:
Professional fluent in English (Spoken and written).
Based in Spain.
Experienced in business development, market growth, or consulting (2+ years)
Self-starters who own their pipeline and create results

Compensation:
This role includes a probationary period of 3 months that is entirely on a commission basis.
Freelance: Post probation (3 months or $30k in total closed contracts): $1,200–$1,500/month.
Commission: Probation: 4%-6% of total revenue of closed contracts, and post probation: 6–8% on total revenue of closed contracts (with increases as you grow in seniority).

Key Responsibilities:Full-Cycle Business Development: Own the entire client journey, from prospecting to closing, across Spain.
Client Acquisition: Prospect and connect with potential clients that drive DigiLance forward in the Spanish market.
Open partnerships: Identify and develop strategic partnerships to expand DigiLance’s footprint, secure our presence on relevant RFP and preferred vendor lists.
Own your pipeline: Build and manage your leads independently, with support from the internal team as needed.
Share market insight: Help us understand trends, opportunities, and gaps in the Spanish market.
Market Expansion: Identify new verticals and sectors where DigiLance can add value; design entry approaches and partnership strategies.
Consultative Selling: Understand client needs and craft tailored digital solutions that draw from marketing, technology, and strategy.
Relationship Management: Build long-term trust with clients through consistency, follow-up, and insight-driven conversations.
Performance & Reporting: Track KPIs, report on pipeline health, and use data-driven insights to refine sales approaches.
Mentorship: Support junior associates by sharing insights, feedback, and best practices within the Market Growth team.
Ideal Qualifications:
Experience:
2–5 years of proven success in B2B business development, partnership, or growth roles: ideally in digital agencies, SaaS, or consulting environments.
Track record of closing deals in Spain or the broader Iberian market.
Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar) and structured pipeline management.
Understanding of digital marketing, web/app development, or tech services (comfortable speaking to technical and business audiences).
Skills:
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills in Spanish & English.
Strong commercial acumen with an eye for identifying new revenue streams.
Autonomous and self-motivated: comfortable working with flexible schedules and remote teams.
Culturally adaptable and confident working across markets and industries.
Deep curiosity about digital trends, marketing strategy, and organizational growth.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., Google, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) are a plus.
