Digital Marketing StrategistLocation: Melbourne or remote within Australia

Daily Rate: $400 - $500 a day  

Tradies.AI is Australia’s first platform built to help trade businesses grow smarter. We combine high-performance marketing, practical tools, real industry experience and AI technology designed specifically for tradies. Our clients include electricians, plumbers, builders, landscapers, renovators and more. They come to us because they want to grow without stress, chaos or guesswork.

We are expanding fast and are looking for a Digital Strategist who can bring depth, creativity and execution excellence. If you understand what works in digital marketing right now and you enjoy building campaigns that convert, this role gives you the chance to help shape the next stage of growth for a business that is changing an entire industry.

The kind of person we are looking for

You have real digital marketing experience. You have built campaigns, created assets, written copy and managed agencies. You understand the trade sector or have worked closely with trade clients, and you know how to translate digital strategy into real business results. You communicate clearly, work at pace and enjoy solving problems without ego.

What you will be doingStrategy, campaigns and execution

• Develop and implement integrated campaigns that grow awareness, generate leads and improve engagement

• Plan, create and execute campaigns across digital, social, search, email, partnerships and emerging channels

• Write or oversee high-performing ad copy, landing pages, email sequences and content assets

• Translate market insights into campaigns that resonate with trade business owners

Brand, content and communication

• Oversee the creation and refinement of marketing materials, templates, digital assets and platform content

• Build a strong, intentional brand presence across all platforms

• Support internal communication so the team stays aligned with marketing priorities

Data, insights and continuous improvement

• Track and report on campaign performance, conversion rates and ROI

• Use data to identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement and conversion

• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry shifts

• Recommend new channels and experiments based on performance data

Collaboration and leadership

• Act as the day-to-day contact for marketing operations

• Work closely with client support, operations and product teams to ensure alignment

• Bring new ideas, test hypotheses and help evolve the marketing engine

• Lead and develop two media buyers through weekly meetings, daily huddles and regular team training to ensure high-quality execution of your strategies.

What you bring

• Experience in digital marketing, ideally in an agency or head of marketing role

• Hands-on ability across ads, copy, creative, SEO, content and campaign delivery

• Understanding of the trades, construction sector is highly desirable

• Ability to balance strategy with execution and work quickly without drama

• Curiosity, initiative and genuine care for helping business owners succeed
